Koppert Biological Systems produces cultivation solutions for food crops and ornamental plants. As a market leader in their field sustainability is very important for them. In their journey towards sustainability Re-Volt supports the core project team and focus groups in staying on the right strategic track, facilitates workshops, supports and unburdens the project group where needed and is a sparring partner for the sustainability policy and strategy development.

design & facilitation for european climate solutions

The Drawdown Europe Research Association guides and facilitates science-based climate action, and helps create useful and meaningful tools to assess and enable implementation throughout Europe and the world. Together with a global network of researchers, we are connecting and convening the best research available on climate solutions, and translate it into accessible, relevant, and usable tools that enable implementation.

Re-Volt is the lead partner in translating the Drawdown solutions into action, offering participatory workshop formats and change trajectories that allow local and regional actors to shift their attention to implementing the most impactful climate solutions relevant to their environment and sphere of influence.

a regional implementation agenda on circularity

The Province of Zeeland has the ambition to be fully circular by 2050. A vision without a plan is merely a dream, so the circularity program team set out to draft the regional implementation agenda and designed a tailored four-pronged strategy to coordinate, plan, involve and evolve together with the key stakeholders in the region.

Re-Volt facilitated the formulation of the strategy and offered guidance on how to best craft the Zeeland Circular theory of change.

capacity building: training the current and next generation

A key requirement for the shift toward a more sustainable society is to increase the sustainability literacy and ability to take on a leadership role in developing the capacity in organisations to create change that lasts. If anything is at the core of what we do at Re-Volt then it is exactly this: supporting individuals and organisations in developing a shared language to take on the challenges of our times. Pivotal in our work has been the Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development, a.k.a. The Natural Step framework.

Over the years we have trained and coached hundreds of people with one goal in common: make the best possible contribution in addressing sustainability, now and in the future.

the foundations for a training academy

Except Integrated Sustainability founded the Except Academy after 20 years of working hands-on in creating systemic change in society towards a sustainable future. Their approach and experience is captured in the Symbiosis in Development (SiD) framework. Since 2002, they actively develop SiD, make it available in open source, and support its application by means of training and publications, for individuals and teams alike.

Re-Volt has been a key contributor in setting up and delivering trainings for the Academy.

navigating by a compass that stands the test of time

The Nature- & Environmental federations are a leading voice for nature and environment in the Netherlands. The foundation for the federation in the Province of Zeeland (ZMf) is a Timeless Compass. It captures their purpose, core values, their guiding principles as well as their long term strategic goals. The compass allows them to stay on track, with decision making and to make judgement calls whether or not to source additional external expertise on certain topics.

Re-Volt supported the ZMf from A to Z in their team and strategy development as their preferred sparring partner, strategist and facilitator.

tools for grassroots activists

Patagonia’s Tools for Grassroots Activists Conferences were born out of our desire to do more than just write checks to environmental organizations. Patagonia wanted to use their resources to help find solutions to urgent environmental problems.

Re-Volt contributed to the 2018 European edition through visual thinking training and on-site coaching.
